Culinary / Chef Shift Lead
Great meals help create great camp experiences. As a Culinary Shift Lead, you’ll help lead the kitchen team in preparing meals that serve hundreds of guests with excellence, hospitality, and care. You’ll play an important role in creating an environment where guests feel welcomed and cared for.
What You’ll Do
- Lead kitchen operations during assigned shifts
- Prepare and serve meals
- Coach and encourage kitchen team members
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Help with menu execution and food quality
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and efficient
What We’re Looking For
- Kitchen or food service experience preferred
- Leadership experience is helpful but not required
- Organized and dependable
- Calm under pressure
- Passion for hospitality and teamwork
Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Weekend availability required
- Certified Food Manager Certificate required
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen

Weekend Handyman / Engineering
Do you enjoy fixing things and solving problems? As part of our Engineering team, you’ll help keep Emmanuel Pines running smoothly by maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds so guests can focus on what matters most – their time at camp.
What You’ll Do
- Complete general maintenance and repairs
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Respond to maintenance requests
- Assist with preventative maintenance projects
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming campus
- Troubleshoot facility issues as they arise
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in general maintenance, construction, or a related trade
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Dependable with attention to detail
- Able to work independently
Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Weekend availability
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work both indoors and outdoors
